Have You Missed Your Voter Registration Deadline?
posted on: October 6, 2008
This is NOT the year to get to the polls only to find out that your voter registration has expired, or that you've moved out of your voting district, or that you can't vote under your maiden name, or that it's too late to send in your absentee ballot. With less than 30 days until the election on November 4th, it's time to take your United States citizenship seriously and participate in this thing we call democracy. Here are voter registration deadlines and information links for some key states...
MAIL-IN REGISTRATION HAS ALREADY PASSED FOR THESE STATES!
*Check the individual sites to see if there are any terms that allow for late registration*

If you're already registered to vote - GREAT! Now make sure you can actually get to your designated polling location on November 4th before your polls close! If that's not a possibility for you because maybe you commute for work, or maybe you'll be out of town for school, or maybe you're just likely to forget- make sure you get an absentee ballot to send in.
Or... just don't vote... (warning: contains potty-mouth language ;-)
