== Attention Photographers ==

First, I want to thank you for stalking my blog! Of the hundreds of readers who visit this blog each day, I'm going to guess that about 75% of them are photographers... because I certainly don't have as many clients as I have blog readers!! I'm so honored that you find my work inspiring and worth watching regularly!! I puffy heart you. ;)
Second, in case you haven't found it yet, I have a separate blog dedicated to photographers and small business owners where I share business and marketing ideas, as well as a large variety of resources and websites to make your business life easier. Before pursuing photography, I had several different careers that involved marketing, managing, and finance- as well as several years of college study in business. While I relate everything to my experiences in my own business, much of the advice can be applied to ANY small business- because we all face similar challenges when we work for ourselves. Check out PHOTOLOVECAT.com to see if it would be useful to you!
Lastly, I've received a lot of requests about joining me for a wedding as a second shooter. With the permission of my clients, I'm happy to have you join me for a wedding to see how I work, or to help build your portfolio. It's not a paying opportunity, but it's a valuable experience that I wished someone had given me when I was starting out. Even today- I love shooting with other people, and the creative freedom that comes with knowing there's little to no pressure as a second shooter! There are so many little nuances about working with people that can't be explained- only experienced. If this is something you're interested in, let me know by telling me a little bit about yourself and why you're interested in working with me, as well as cities or regions where you'd be interested in joining me.
Thank you again for all of the photo love you've given me and my clients!! Your comments and praise has helped make a lot of my clients feel like the beautiful people they are!!

And thank you too :) Thanks for the other site, I haven't gotten a chance to look at it yet, but knowing you I am sure it is worth a read.
ReplyDeleteHappy holiday season to you and your close ones!
I must admit...I'm a stalker : ) You are truly an amzing photographer, I love your style. I always check here for updated photos, but I'm also an avid reader of the photolovecat blog. You've been a huge help. Thank you! Give me a call if you are ever in Maine : )
ReplyDeleteI am a BIG fan and stalker Anne. Your work is just fantastic and I love how you are able to capture even the most miniscule details. All those wonderful candid shots also add a lot of mystique and character!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to hear that you are willing to take in a second shooter for a wedding. This is such a wonderful opportunity for us - startup photogs. You are probably one of the most generous and down-to-earth famous photographers out there. You are just wonderful and I hope I can be your second shooter one day. Give me a holler when you’re shooting in the Metro DC area!
ANNE!
ReplyDeleteWe can talk more at Flourish, but I'd LOVE to hang with you and second shoot at a wedding!
I've been stalking you too... and have had the opportunity to view your Photographers Blog. I just love your insite, such a wealth of information. Thank you...
ReplyDeleteps. Can't wait to see you on Monday.
Hi Anne,
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of yours. I think your just great in sharing your expertise in such an open way. I would love to join you as a second shooter one day. You don't happen to shoot a wedding in Berlin, Germany anytime soon, do you?
I tried to find creative wedding photography here in Berlin. But there doesn't seem to be much.
Christian.
Wow... thank you so much for the love you guys!! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI know I'm in the middle of no where and yet I seem to be everywhere at once! You could always fly me out to where you are and have me shoot with YOU! ;)
