If you'll be scouting some cool fireworks shots this weekend, make sure you bring your tripod and a zoom lens! You can usually get great fireworks shots with a tight aperture (f/8-22), a slow shutter (1/15th of a second - 1 second), and an ISO between 400-800. If you can click the shutter once you see the stream of light go into the air, than you should be able to capture a full burst like the one above! If you only have a point & shoot camera with no manual settings, use a tripod and put your camera on night mode with no flash. Happy picture taking!
Thanks for the tips! Happy Independence Day!
